About Badou Jack…
Two-Division World Champion Badou Jack will be challenging WBC Light Heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson for his title at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on May 19. Not only is Badou passionate about boxing, but he will tell you that family is the most important thing in his life.
Badou is the proud parent of daughter Malaniyah, who will turn two this year, and his wife Yasemin just gave birth to their second child in March. As Badou would be the first to say, fatherhood and family life has had a tremendously positive influence on his life, both personally and professionally.
Badou also has the Badou Jack Foundation through which he does some really commendable philanthropic work. His wife Yasemin is obviously a little busy right now with the birth of their second child, but the plan is for her to become the President of the foundation once things settle down a bit. So the Badou Jack Foundation is a family affair and will be doing more and more with time.
Badou is nicknamed “The Ripper” because he is one of the fiercest professional boxers in the world. Make sure you check out his fight on May 19th as he goes for the WBC Light Heavyweight belt.
